Making tidal waves on the Bristol Jazz scene, Molly Miranda King is a wonderfully vibrant singer with a natural talent, and unique tone, drawing on Soul and Gospel influences to enhance her distinctive traditional Jazz sound.
Molly is involved in various projects including the Jazz and folk originals band 'The Tin Man's Heart', An originals Jazz and Soul duo with the amazing Bristol based guitarist Harry Haynes, And the well known Jazz band 'Molly and The Kings', who perform a mix of traditional and modern Jazz. She also runs a 'The Supers' Seven-piece Funk and Soul band with horn section. (www.thesupersband.com).
As well as live performance, Molly works as a freelance session vocalist, and has had the pleasure to work on some great projects including multiple soundtracks for ITV's award winning 'Fixers’, collaborating with highly acclaimed music producer Lack Of Afro, and recording for commercials, including Frankie Drake and Barbie, to name a few. Molly also performed live with comedian Reggie Watts as part of one of his improvised musical sets.
Molly also writes and arranges original music, specialising in close vocal harmony, and is currently working on recording an album! Watch this space!
